India is Ready to Sell TEJAS ! Start Conversation with Mishra & Argentina

According to the latest reports, the Indian Air Force has stated that the first two of the 83 HAL Tejas aircraft ordered by the force are set to be delivered in March 2021. The first squadron is expected to be operational by April 2021. Additionally, the Indian Navy is expected to receive four naval prototypes of the HAL Tejas. These prototypes are currently in the advanced stages of development and integration.

The HAL Tejas is an indigenous, fourth-generation, single-engine, multirole, light combat aircraft developed by the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy. It is designed for maneuverability and agility and features advanced avionics, sensors, and weapons. The aircraft made its first flight in 2001. The HAL Tejas has several advantages over other combat aircraft. Its advanced avionics, sensors, and weapon systems provide it with superior situational awareness and a greater capacity for precision attacks. Additionally, its lightweight frame and small size give it increased maneuverability, allowing it to respond quickly to changing situations. Furthermore, its low cost of acquisition and maintenance makes it an attractive option for militaries around the world. HAL is currently working on a Mark-2 version of the Tejas which will feature an improved engine, radar, and other enhanced capabilities. Additionally, HAL is developing a Medium Combat Aircraft based on the Tejas platform as well. This aircraft is expected to eventually replace the Indian Air Force's aging MiG-21 fighters. The HAL Tejas has also recently participated in the Aero India 2021 show held in Bengaluru in February 2021, where it demonstrated its maneuvering and weapon-carrying capabilities.
